Surtout connu à ses débuts pour ses obscurs jeux de sport développés à la demande d'Electronic Arts, le studio The Creative Assembly
surnageait à grand-peine dans le paysage du jeu vidéo quand soudain à
l'approche du nouveau millénaire est apparue devant ses développeurs
l'ombre du grand samurai Musashi, les exhortant à traiter d'un sujet
alors peu populaire dans la branche vidéoludique : le Japon médiéval.
Galvanisés par cette apparition et enthousiastes à l'idée d'explorer de
nouveaux horizons vidéoludiques, ces joyeux Anglais prenaient quelques
mois plus tard le monde par surprise avec un Shogun : Total War au gameplay
terriblement innovant et particulièrement adapté à son univers, où la
clarvoyance du gestionnaire et la ruse du stratège devaient sans cesse
se rejoindre pour mieux l'emporter.
Deux ans plus tard, Medieval : Total War
confirmait le talent de ses créateurs et leur donnait l'occasion de
faire leurs preuves dans un environnement déjà plus commun, tout en
leur permettant de développer un peu plus l'aspect gestion et
d'approfondir du même coup la campagne. Pour Rome Total War,
cette optique a de nouveau été privilégiée et on ne s'étonnera donc
plus de consacrer presque autant de temps à l'économie qu'à la guerre
totale proprement dite dans une épopée impériale à la durée de vie
monstreuse. C'est bien connu, Rome ne s'est pas faite en un tour.

Press the tilde (~) key and enter
these codes to use them. All codes are case sensitive. Make sure to
capitalize family member names, settlement names, and anything else
that needs capitalizing or else it will likely to not work. All codes
have a limited use if you are using patch 1.2 or lower. If you use
patch 1.3 or higher you may have infinte uses. If you have patch 1.2
and wish to use a specific code again you need to exit the program and
restart it.
